initially formed by claude ammann, patrik haldimann lux, wolfgang haap some years ago, nowadays the project is managed by percussionist claude ammann.
sorting through a wealth of grooves c.a. developed his unique style. The e:scape - sound incorporates a wide variety of musical genres, such as world, soundtrack, ambient, postrock,……. and features a transparent and well - tempered mix of acoustic and electronic elements. Improvisation provides the template for a song……some beats over that, some melodic riffs …that give rise to chords and harmonies. Mixing and matching…….much of e:scape's music evolves within the track itself. e:scape soundscapes mixed together to create one continous listening experience. The tracks exude a beautiful, peaceful quality …….. "hopefully it moves you"

seit jahren arbeitet er kontinuierlich an den atmospherischen instrumental - soundcollagen. herausgeschält aus grooves und jam-sessions entwickelt sich der e:scape - sound; dieser beinhaltet elemente aus verschiedenen musikalischen stilen - world, soundtrack, ambient, postrock,…….ausgestattet mit einem wohltemperierten mix aus akustischen und elektronischen elementen. improvisationen bilden den ursprung der musikalischen ideen. ein grossteil der musik entwickelt sich innerhalb eines tracks weiter - soundcollagen formen sich zu einem ganzen - mit bezaubernder austrahlung……
